Longleat House, Safari & Adventure Park is now bigger and better than ever before!
Go wild in the UK’s No.1 Safari Park- this will take you unbelievably close to animals you have only ever dreamed about. Look out for Longleat’s magnificent lions, see how you measure up to a giraffe, walk on the wild side with lemurs, and beware of the meddling monkeys!
Continue your adventure aboard the Jungle Cruise for a sea lion escorted voyage, find yourself going round in circles in the Longleat Hedge Maze and don’t forget to hop on the Jungle Express train.
At the heart of the park is Longleat House – one of the best examples of an Elizabethan Stately home, with over 450 years of turbulent English history. Substantially completed by 1580 and now home to the 7th Marquess of Bath, Longleat House is set within 900 acres of stunning ‘Capability’ Brown landscaped parkland.

This Easter we welcome Za Ji, our incredible acrobatic shows featuring the Sichuan Suining Acrobatic Troupe. Performing under canvas in the main area at Longleat, the show features some astonishing beautiful and daring artistic performers. There will be around 3-4 shows per day during the school holidays. Shows run March 28th – 6th September.
For younger visitors there is also the chance to take part in the popular Easter Egg Hunt. Track down our giant themed eggs and crack the special code to complete the trail.
Summer Spectacular -‘Dinosaurs Unearthed’
Coming to Longleat this Summer- a prehistoric adventure! Trek through the forgotten woods to find 20 unique and impressive dinosaurs. All animatronic and based on real paleontological evidence, each dinosaur forms part of a brilliant and exciting discovery trail. Discover bugs and even dinosaur eggs as part of this unique experience. Go even further and hunt for dinosaur bones in our up close, family friendly dig. Event runs early May to 1st November- please check the website for details.
Join us for a host of thrills and spills this autumn! Giant pumpkins which have sprouted up in the Adventure Park, meet Longleat’s trio of witches in the spooky surroundings of Longleat House and learn fascinating facts about our creepy crawlies! Come along for some spell binding activities if you dare!
Festival of Light
Back by popular demand for our winter season, the famous Festival of Light returns with a new story, bigger stars and some unique celebratory elements. This amazing event features thousands of giant Chinese Lanterns hand-made out of steel frames which are then covered in beautiful silks. They are spread across numerous acres of the beautiful gardens and create a really unique and spectacular tour experience, whether by day or after dark.
In addition to the lanterns, Longleat House which will feature our famous, singing, 50ft Christmas tree, as well as our ever popular Santa Train and more winter fun. The World Famous Zigong Chinese Lanterns will be opening here in the Grounds of the House from the 13th November for 7 weeks.
