Creating unforgettable memories for youth groups
Working with some of the UK’s biggest attractions
A message to our Groups:
Merlin Entertainments Attractions
Following the latest update from the UK Government on its response to COVID-19 we are pleased to confirm that the attractions located within Tier 1 & 2 will re-open from Wednesday 2nd December 2020 with the highest standard of health and safety measures in place.
Unfortunately the attached attractions are within Tier 3 and will remain closed until further notice.
The health and safety of guests and team is always the number one priority. As they look forward to welcoming guests back, their teams will continue to create the memorable and exciting experiences they are known for, delivered in the safest possible way.
In line with Government guidelines, they have numerous measures in place including reduced capacities, clear social distancing measures, temperature checks, pre-booking online, cashless payments and enhanced cleaning procedures.
We fully recognise, along with many other businesses, that this year has had a huge impact on the tourism sector, which has a long road to recovery ahead of it. As we start to welcome guests back through the doors again, and continue doing what we do best, we look forward to working with you
NOTE: Shrek’s Adventure will be remain closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until 19th Dec when it will be open 7 days a week for the Christmas period.
A message to our Groups:
Following the announcement of our ‘Good to Go’ status certification from Visit Britain Merlin have had really positive feedback from their customers.
In making a group booking for your group we anticipate that you will naturally be:
- Complying with local authority requirements relating to the use of hand sanitizer and the wearing of masks.
- Adhering with social distancing measures and keeping the maximum people in a group outdoors . Merlin will support this by limiting the number of tickets that can be block-booked .
We ask that you aim to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the attraction opening times (check websites for details) to allow for parking and staggered alighting of coaches.
This will be controlled on the day of visit by the attraction operation teams.
Please ensure you have advised all participants that they must appraise themselves of the onsite instructions and regulations prior to visiting.
It remains your responsibility to notify all participants of the procedures and policies in place, which for convenience can be found on the attraction website.
We remind you that anyone displaying symptoms should be prevented from travelling, this is especially imperative for coach/group travel as a single passenger failing their temperature check could impact on all passengers travelling.
Merlin have actioned all of the measures not to hinder, but to help you and your passengers to have a wonderful visit to our attractions.
To further aid visitor flow we now operate voucherless and cashless attractions, so remember to pre-book and pre-pay via our web site portal to get your direct entry barcodes.
We really look forward to welcoming you for a memorable day out at our attractions and thank you in advance for your ongoing support
